Job Overview: As a WordPress Developer at HSN Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications. Your expertise in WordPress development, theme customization, and plugin integration will be crucial in delivering top-notch solutions to our clients. You will collaborate with our design and content teams to ensure seamless implementation and optimal performance of WordPress sites.
Responsibilites:
- Develop and customize WordPress themes based on client’s requirements, design mockups, and wireframes.
- Integrate and customize plugins to enhance website functionality, ensuring compatibility and security.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement visual and interactive elements aligning with the website design.
- Ensure the responsive design and cross-browser compatibility of WordPress sites.
- Optimize website performance, loading times, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress functionality, theme, and plugins.
- Maintained and updated existing WordPress websites, including content updates and bug fixes.
- Stay up-to-date with WordPress trends, best practices, and security standards.
- Assist in website migration and deployment activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Requirements:
- Proven 3 to 5 years of experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and its latest updates.
- Experience in customizing and developing WordPress themes from scratch or using frameworks.
- Familiarity with popular page builders and visual composer plugins for WordPress.
- Understanding of website performance optimization techniques and SEO principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve compatibility issues with third-party plugins and themes.
- Strong understanding of security best practices for WordPress websites.
